Lonely World Poem by Marvis Ayebor

Lonely World

Rating: 5.0

Woke up and found myself in a world of my own
No shelter, father no mother no lover of my soul
No sand, bed, wood, iron or stones
No roses, money, silver, diamond or gold
Neither hot or cold
I woke up in a lonely world of my own

Oh! I'm in a lonely planet
I was talking loud yet I'm silent
Couldn't tell any lies, no mirror but could see the truth in eyes
Saw beyond far yet I was blind
Ground was far and sky so high
I knew this is me without the usual mind
Far it was bright, nearer was the dark side
Couldn't cry, laugh or even smile
As days passes by, suddenly I became cloudy like the sky
