Lonesome Poem by Mark. A Heathcote

Lonesome

Lonesome
There's an echo in the woods.
Every sky is an empire.
Looking in your big blue eyes

I'll take my severance pay.
Tomorrow
Leaving in silence
I'll avoid going to confession.
That I'm not here just for the ride.

Your voice - it turns my heart into ashes.
When there's just a wall of silence
I'll take all these pennies from heaven.
If you'll fill my charity box
And not deal with me with karma
