Long Ago 3-1-2007 Poem by (William) ( Rain Mountain)

I wonder through this world
alone but not afraid
I search and see humanity
destroying what I owned!

That was long ago
once was flesh and bone
once was a mortal man
with family of my own.

Now cursed to roam for eternity
listing to the sorrows
of the screaming trees
how they use to sing to me
that was long ago!

Long before the smoggy sky's
back when they where blue
long before city
where the forest grew!

but that was long ago!

Now its all gone
who will sing the song
that gives are mother earth life
and keeps man living on?

Living to kill here slowly
now shes forced to fight!
We are no longer her children
we are now a parasite!
