Long Faces Poem by Holly Phan

Long Faces

There was a long look on everyone's face,
as they drag their feet shuffling to place,
wondering ghostly as they shake,
from the heavy steel lace,

There was a cold feeling from the sky,
as it falls a thousand times,
drenching my heart inside,
bring tears to my eyes,

There was a memory that I lost,
as I chisel it out from the frost,
had mixed feelings that I cross,
can't tie me down with a floss.
