Long Time Poem by Yevheniia Makarchuk

Long Time

Long time I'm not home. Still looking at picture.
It's same. Always same. My eternal stricture.
My tears roasting deep on my solo committing.
You can't touch my breath —
I can't least admit it.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Sometimes people lose each other before they lose their love. It's not always a personal decision, sometimes it's events around them, sometimes an event that will happen in the future, sometimes death. The person is gone. but the feelings remain. And it's not always an option to foresee it or act differently. I hate to think about it, but i do.
