Longing Poem by Igor Balatsky

Longing

Rating: 5.0

in the dead of the cold hungry night
i heard little bluebird singing
yet i had to admit
that it was my heart aching
longing for early spring thaw
for the very first snowdropp fragrance
for the warmth
of your faraway smile
