Longing Poem by Jonathan Tieken

Longing

Rating: 4.5

To lend an ear a word's caress,
the human tongue would envy less
if it could but speak to full content
the perfect feeling of heart throbs spent
in admiration, adulation, jubilation, love -
for you, my dear, I long to hear,
and in my arms to hold!
