Longing Poem by DANIEL DAN

Longing

Quiet… beneath an endless sky, I stand
A hush settles, lingering where I am
Stillness wraps around my gaze
And silence speaks what words cannot

If only you were here with me now

Beside me—so close our breaths would meet
Your presence brushing softly against mine
Within the reach of my waiting hands
To hold you… to know the warmth of your skin

If only this moment held you here

I would lose myself in your hair
Trace gentle paths along your back
Cradle the softness of your cheeks
And drown in the nearness of your eyes

Oh, my love…

How deeply I ache for you
In this very moment…
If only fate were kinder—
And you were here with me now…
