Lonlieness, And Shadowing Pain Poem by Chana Peake

Lonlieness, And Shadowing Pain

the onslaughter of loneliness
the contempting pain you see
echos at who you should be
parent seeing nothing of you
carrying the pain through and through
only having one friend to befall
hearing your screams betide the silent night
billking your own heart to stone
you so dark, alone and torn

so torn is your heart
so empty the mind
the dull beating of your own heart
taste of liquor hangs on your lips
standing on the brink of death
no one seeing you, and no one to care
alone like a ghost roaming a life unknown
liek a hand outstreched, then torn away
gripping your heart with loneliness and pain

never uttering one single word of strength
being pushed around with no one to blame
the darkness is your hearts home
from behind, light beckons you home
pushing light further from your mind
you numb with coldness, no love at all
tumble to your sweet numb death..
and no one cares at all.
