Look! A Book! - Poem by William Shuttleworth

A galaxy full of books is beaming light all throughout the store
Eagerly awaiting your eyes over them to pour
Famous names and faces grace the covers of many
By so many writers who have written varied volumes of plenty
Also on view you'll find a writer like me
An author who's written one little book of poetry
Please pick it up and flip the pages inside
See what my heart has penned and then decide
To add to this, I'm persevering to author another kind of book
It humbles my heart that you would even care to look!
