I looked around at the everyday faces today
Normally I would keep walking and be on my way
But today was different than it would normally be
As each face past I felt as if they were talking to me
Not with words but the expression in their look
The emotions were clearly read like a good book
As I looked around I noticed all the different types
The business men stressed looking all up tight
The playful child with a radiant glow
A homeless man with his head down low
A single woman flaunting her beauty
Some weird guy staring at her booty
I noticed that they were saying the same thing
They didn't see in color like Martin Luther King
Some may not admit how they truly feel
But what I saw on their face was very real
Not one looked at the looks of the others
Instead they seem to enjoy being around a fellow brother
What I heard them all say was very true
'stop judging us by our looks and start looking at you'
