Look Through My Eyes Poem by Lilith Van'Nightinveil

Look Through My Eyes

In shadows cast by neglect's cruel game,
A little heart, devoid of love's sweet flame.
Look through my eyes, a tale untold,
Of a child's journey, both timid and bold.

Parents too clingy or lost in the mist,
Their love a puzzle, pieces dismissed.
In solitude, she played life's cruel part,
A puppeteer mastering the strings of her heart.

From the cradle of neglect, she arose,
A garden of empathy in a world of throes.
Look through my eyes, see the seeds she'd sow,
Caring and love in her heart did grow.

Through hardships and trials, she found her way,
Forced to be strong, in life's grand ballet.
Her innocence lost, yet compassion remained,
Look through my eyes, the love unchained.

In a world of confusion, she sought the light,
A beacon of kindness in the darkest night.
Her hands, once dealt a horrible hand,
Crafted love from a barren land.

From the void, a soul emerged, refined,
Look through my eyes, the story entwined.
In her gaze, the echoes of a painful past,
Yet love, an epic tale that forever will last.
