over there
there is suffering
but if you don't look
you just might
miss it

look
see that
sorrow of the
unprivileged people
but you might
miss it

look
next to you
see the life you
lead as a happy and
privileged human
but if you don't
you will
miss it

look
around the world
see the happiness people
will expirience
but if you decide not to
you might miss it

look
at the planet you call home
see the suffering, the pain
of your kin
please look or you might
miss it

look
at your world
notice the problems
that you didn't notice
at the defects that are small
and no one cares to fix
because if you don't,
others will
miss it

look
just look
notice all the things
that you don't
see all that is there
and appreciate
what you are given
because somewhere out there
a person is hungry
or hurt
and to think you would
miss it

just because you weren't looking
