Looking back
It’s always clear then
A thousand choices, wish I could make again
A thousand words left unsaid
Ten thousand tears left unshed
I was wrong, you just right
A thousand screams I hear from you
Alone
Under blackened sky
I try and forget, search for peace
Every prayer begins with you
Every wish, every dream
Looking back
It’s always clear then
I ask myself, would I do it again
With eager grin I’d do it again
Every laughter, joy and tear
Live it all over again
