I looked for you, love, from above, with the sky,
When I asked him to draw for me,
From the clouds, a heart redder than fire
And I wrote on it with my own hand,
I'm waiting for you, my love.

I looked for you love, with the salty sea,
When I asked her to hit the shore,
And if her wave will hit your leg
To kiss it with my kiss
And then, to let me know.

I looked for you love, with the field full of flowers,
When I asked him to infuse, with wonderful perfume,
On every young lady by the side of the road,
And when he sees you, to give you as a gift
A smile and a tulip, both from me.
