Looking For Sirius Poem by Priti Pauline

Looking For Sirius

Sitting on a bench
Flustered, worked-up, rather tense
Searching for Sirius
Whose energy's..... so mysterious
Or is that furious
Maybe even curious
Certainly, Luxurious

As we sip sparkling Champaign
And behold what really came
Urban stars of a different kind
As nothing depicted by ones' mind
Seek & ye shall find
Please do try to keep inline
That is not always so straight
Be patient and wait
Relax, enjoy and meet your fate
Right here, Right now, today is the date
Never too early, never too late
For Sirius' open gate
Gateway to heaven
Gateway to the stars And you really don't have to go very far
Drive or get in your car
Sit on a bench with someone you hold dear
Sit and enjoy, relaxed without fear
The secret of Sirius is so very near
Blinded by clouds, it shines bright and clear
So, what's the path we need to steer?
Close the door to your mind, you will hear
Listen; you'll know where to veer
Take courage and go into top gear
Warp factor 9
After this very steep incline
Everything in life is fine
Now is your time!
