Looking Glass, Looking Mighty Fine To Me Poem by Roger Snow

Looking Glass, Looking Mighty Fine To Me

" Just something in your eyes
Just a glint of the soul within, , ,

gives solace to Those Morning skies
as a hint of silken glow with a grin

Rising heartbeat
Growing stronger
feeling Now, , oh so sweet
lasting a little longer

Like lightning strike
that smile
shine in a way
I can relate
It's almost like
going to last more
than just a while
like a natural state

and child
let us not wait

Traveling further away
then we've ever gone

South and West
where, , ,
the Earth meets the Sea

Situations changing
for the best
I believe
we're where
we need to be

Honey in the Palm
of your hand,

That's the way
you make my heart feel

Oh man
this kind of day
is the way
it should always be, , ,
almost so powerful
it's just unreal, , , ,

Now watch this

Through Looking Glass
down a narrow street
all those moments
they come and pass

Road side scenery
bright in the noon
come the evening
Sea gleams
with the Beams
of a Brilliant Moon

Looking Glass
Seems, , you're looking
mighty fine to me

Believe I'll jump
right into your eyes

Take me away to those
Southern California Skies

When I reach bottom
back up and back around

Same old times
we used to be

You've got me chasing you
while you're catching me

Can't stop my fall

Fall into your charms

you can fall now
right into me
right into my arms
let it be

Looking Glass
seems, , you're looking
mighty fine to me

California, , , where I Roam
Where I began
though long
since I called you Home
and away from I ran

I'm finally heading Home
where I need to be

Back to my Homestead
Home, , ,
Home on the Sea

Waves, ,
rollin' in
and those waves are
rollin' right back out
again
soothes the soul
like an angels sigh
like a Wheel built to roll

Watch this

Colorado, , ,
Ain't gonna hang around
too many of your Women
have wore me down

Going Home, , ,
with a bruise
on my soul

Going home
backwards rolling
any direction
this child needs to go

Looking Glass
seems, , , you're looking
Mighty Fine to me, , ,

Lately, , , I've been moving
rather slow
slower now, , these days
I've grown a bit old
Under the speed limit by five
enjoy the scenery while I can
and while, ,
This child remains alive
just a slow roving Man
with a wider smile ~~~~ End
