Lord there are no earthly words left for me to say
I'm to the point now where I don't know how to pray
I just don't understand it Lord my heart is really torn
The more I strive to trust you the more my faith is worn
I know you have no favorites your word is plain to see
What you have done for others you can do for me
I know you are able and I know you're in control
Yet I need to know you're willing as I pour to you my soul
So Lord I come before you humbled at your throne
Asking you to hold me Lord I feel so alone
I'm grateful for the prayers of friends and loving family
But there's one thing I ask of you Lord would you please pray for me
His answer was my precious child I say unto you
No matter how things look right now I'm going to see you through
Cast your every care on me your pain I understand
Remember I am holding you in my nail scarred hands
