Losing All There Is To Lose Poem by Douglas ClearyMaxwell

Losing All There Is To Lose

Missing you in every way
Trying to keep these thoughts at bay
By working harder every day
Hands are blistered from my dismay
I can't believe you've gone so far away
But soon I will to
For I've lost all there is to lose
And now I must travel very far
This is where I will leave my heart
Don't follow me into the dark
Because there is no turning back
I am alone….
