Not a day goes by
That I can't feel the pain
No matter how I try
It just won't ever change

I keep telling myself
Give the boy some time
He might be able to tell
The reason why I cry

But no matter what I do
He still doesn't see
That for us to be true
He's the one I need

The longer I wait
For him to finally see
The more I lose faith
That we were meant to be

O love, you cruel feeling
Please don't fail me again
For I cannot keep healing
From this deathly pain
