Losing You Poem by Hung T. Nguyen

Losing You

Rating: 5.0

Let not Helios, nor the substance near the ergosphere
Stop us, for what’s within our most inner fear.
Let not the light of where we stood about,
Give us the feeling of true doubt.
You were taken from me,
After the flower disperse for all to see.
We were given a test, to stay apart.
But as the flower disperse into the thick air,
We are still given time ‘til the pedal tears.
It is up to us to pick and choose.
Whether you meet someone new during your cruise,
It will be either me or you to disappear.
And that right there, is my biggest fear.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Let not the sun nor a black hole scare us away from our intentions. Let nothing from light to shadow let us doubt ourselves. You were taken away after you were deflowered, and others saw. We were given a break; however, the break isn't a break anymore if the feeling is gone. It is our choice to either stay or find someone new during the time being. But losing you is what I fear most.

I feel you pains. Tales well told. Well done Nguyen.
