Loss Poem by Poppy Burke

Loss

Rich, Dark, Cloying Red.
Desecrating Innocent Maiden White.
Spreading quickly, Tainting.
Crisp white, Diseased.
Thrust into Crimson Hell-Flame.
Angelic purity- Lost.
Precious tomb of icy marble, Broken, Violated.

Wildfire Scarlet.
