Loss Poem by lamia harker

Loss

his smile rains
down like fire
i bask in it's glow...

what an empty
shell i'll be
when you let me
go..

careful dreams
barely touched
blaze to raging
desire

and all the while
i fight the
need
to simply
swallow all your warmth

because.. i remember
how everything i was
was frozen
without you
