Lost Poem by Addam Ardon

Lost

For a while I've been feeling lost

Lost in a way where I don't know where me…myself has gone
I thought I once knew who I was, and who I wanted to surround myself with. A me that had a positive outlook on everything
Had the passion for anything and everything I'd look at.

I've been looking and searching for that me for A long, long time

The only thing I've found is a grumpy, broken me that's lost it's love for everything. Everything that made it happy, All the people that it loved,
The me that lost all it's love for it's parents

Realizing that and thinking that it's parents only cares about a simple letter, how come now A letter became so important, why wasn't it important 2 years ago,5 years ago,10 years ago.

How come it's dad only became truly involved in its life when it reached high school
Why wasn't it there before
Why didn't he come to any of my award ceremonies when I was younger
Why does he want to go to one so badly now

Why it's mom only uses it for showing off
Why it's mom cares so much about what other people say about it
Why it's mom just wants appraisal so bad

Why does this me have to lose the passion and love for everything
The love that music once called to me. The love that socializing once give me
The love that I once used to give to me.

I still yearn for the me I've lost
I
Will
Always
Wonder
If
He'll
Come
Back
To
Me.
