Lost Poem by Ivy Kiarie

Lost

Rating: 4.0

What does the world know about love
Just another good to be packaged and sold
Then you came along and were party to the cause
That had broken so many a-heart
I should've read the signs

My smile, was never that wide
My heartbeat, never that quick
My nights, never so full

You enslaved me with the deceit of your tongue
And broke down my walls with your words
I guess you had that sugar
Enough to coat my despair

Our worlds collided
And now they are drifting apart
Where do we go from here
I'm lost
