Lost Poem by Jeunese Rona

I wander around
In pure darkness
With nothing around me
But emptiness.

I search for the one
Who once loved me,
Ran away with my heart
And soul entirely.

I feel so hallow,
So empty, so alone
So cold, so tired
And forlorn.

With nowhere to run to
No one to hear my cries
No one to love me,
And wipe the tears from my eyes,

Yet I call out his name
In my dreams, and when awake
This barrenness inside me
Is much more than I can take.
