Lost Again - Poem by Rodion Myshkin

LOST AGAIN
I HIDE MY PAIN,
DARKNESS GLOOMS
BLINDING MY BLOOMS;
THE SILENCE SPEAKS
AND IN INACTION SEEKS,
A TIME OF PEACE
A QUEST NEVER TO CEASE.

NOW SEARCHING ANEW
I FOUND THE LIFE I KNEW,
A PAST THAT HELD ME BACK
SHOWING VISIONS OF WHAT I LACK;
MY STRENGTH IS MY WEAKNESS
CHAINING ALL MY MEEKNESS,
THE MIND TWIRLING IN A SPIN
FROM A FEAR THAT LIES WITHIN.

BUT NOW I FIND
A CHANCE TO BIND,
MY HEART AND SOUL
TO MAKE ME WHOLE;
FOR THE LIGHT I SEEK
IS DISTANT AT THE PEAK,
SPARKLING WITH A GLITTER
USHERING ME UP, A QUITTER.

SO I NEED TO SOAR
TO SEE WHATS IN STORE,
AND NOW, I TAKE FLIGHT AS BEFORE
HOPING THAT LIFE HOLDS MORE...
