The ocean dragged me under
Making it hard to breath
I was slowly suffocating
Til you found me
You pulled me from the tide
That kept crashing me down
Into it's watery depths
Thankful I was found
Lost now seen
Grateful that you saved me
Water expelled into my lungs
As I thrashed against it
Fighting for the air
I just now took for granted
Funny how things that matter so much
Losses it's meaning
It's importance
But your hand cradled mine
Fighting the tide
For me
Not letting myself to be lost at sea
I was lost
Until you found me
