Lost Children Of Abraham Poem by Mustafa Marconi

Lost Children Of Abraham

The angels cry out to me
Oh mighty seeds of Abraham
Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing
And do unto your brother
As you would have him do unto you
Woe to the fool who despises knowledge
And stores his treasures here on earth
For where his treasures are stored
So shall his heart reside
Judge not so that ye shall not be judged
To the wicked his will as it has been written
To the righteous his will as it has been written
For everyman shall come to pass with the fruits of their labors
The angels cry out to me
Oh lost children of Abraham
For they have followed our footsteps
And witnessed our many trials and tribulations
They have instructed us to build on solid rock
And to be diligent
For he shall come like a thief in the night
Woe to the fool who despises wisdom
For everyman’s hand shall be against your
And your hands shall be against everyman
Where does your loyalty lie oh lost tribes of Kedar
You can not serve two masters
For surely you will love one and loathe the other
Verily I say unto you
That the good deeds of many shall go unnoticed
And the evil deeds of few shall be glorified
The angels cry out to me
Oh followers of mortal men
For they have documented our endless journey
And have wept as we have suffered in shame
They beckon us to stand tall and proud
To honor our forefathers with dignity and pride
To nurture young men and women of promise
And to do unto everyman
As you would have him do unto you
For to whom much is given
Much shall be expected
Seek and you shall find
That God exist inside of each and every one of us
Woe to the fool who despises knowledge
For surely he shall suffer in shame
