Watching my days go by
I try, to live without you
Needing you by my side
I strive, to understand

Sleeping without you
Missing the love we use to share
Reaching to hold you
Rising to find that you’re not there
I cry, on bended knees

The comfort to always have you standing by me

It seems a little better every day
