Lost City Wanderer Poem by Jeffrey The Budgie

Lost City Wanderer

Rating: 5.0

So cold I'm alone
In my room
Start looking for words, poems
Melodies
To keep me company

Still, when youre back it seems
The words and melodies
Are better friends to me than many

Any love I've ever had, was torn at the seams by me
And all the friends who were close to me I pushed away so easily

Im a lone soul a stumbeler, a lost city wanderer
That's the way it's meant to be

I can say what I want to say, I'll just do it
I'll go where I want to go, nothing more to it
Like a diamond in the rough, I will triumph in adversity
Nothing else to do, since I can only think in poetry.
