Lost Dreams Poem by Nnadozie Okoro

Lost Dreams

Emptiness and endless thoughts are bound
In notes of endless regrets wishing
If time can be amended to recollected what
Were once dreams
Of yesteryear ambitions cherished and loved now
Paddles of thoughts to be whisked upon and reimagined
Into new creation where zeal awaits with comfort to give birth
To endless chase only if hope can unveil its pursuits without
The friction and fission of time and space bound together by
These endless thoughts in notes of endless regrets that seams awaken
Inner demons
A distant reminder of their powers to paralyzed souls from its
Cold grips that only the mortician can prescribe its remedies
