Lost & Found Poem by ana partida

Lost & Found

Your love has diminished or has hidden itself from me.
Your hope has chattered like grain of sands.
Your trust dissolved like salt in a water glass.
Your sparkles in your eyes are like falling stars.
Your touch has changed like a withered flower.
You wished on a shooting star but it was planet.
You walked to the path you wanted to go on but found a locked door.
You must walk back to the beginning to, start over, and rewrite your path.
You will walk to the door that you open that gave you love.
You will walk to the door that gave you hope.
You will walk to the door that taught you how to trust
You will walk to the door that gave you that twinkle in your eye
You will walk to the door that taught you how to have a tender touch.
In the end of it, you will walk back to the door that was locked and shall open the door that will give you that shooting star to wish upon. Nevertheless, you will not need it because in the end you have found what you want.
