Lost In A Fairy Tale Poem by Ton Schrederhof

Lost In A Fairy Tale

In this dark place of ghostly light
Where life seems to be so fragile
And the shadows appear to cast a spell on you
I don`t want you to fear my son
Because the spirits of these woods
Will gaze upon you
Whisper enlightened words into your ear
The elves will take you by the hand
To guide you through the twilight
And I will be there when you sleep
When darkness surrounds you
To keep you save
From the monsters outside
And I know
When you grow old
That your mind will be strong
That courage will embrace you heart
And that you will eliminate the evil
In this place we call Earth
And chase
Your demons away
