Lost In Darkness Poem by ASENA MARIE SATAN'S SPAWN

Lost In Darkness

Rating: 5.0

lost in the darkness of your abandonment,
calling you name in endless night.
You used to wipe my tears away from
my eyes,
but now you just ignore my cries.
The pain is unforgettable
and unrequitted.
my heart hurts at the strings that you pulled
and my lungs burn from screaming for forgiveness
Why do I stand here waiting?
knowing theres no chance of your returning?
I can still feel your warmth,
as i kneel on rotted earth.
My keeper, you've left me.
Tourniquet, you've abandoned me.
The sadness that courses through me
leaves me lost in an icy sea.
Heat begins to rise to my face and
I feel my blood start to race.
Sadness turns to anger and
And i feel the beginning of a hated rapture
I stand up and raise my face to the distraught sky.
The clouds swirling dark grey within my eyes.
If a mind can remeber then it can forget.
Forcefully, i push away the memories of that.
That of which is your exsistence.
Pushing them away along with the pain in its essence.
I breathe deeply and turn.
Walking away from what was once a dream,
but now is nothing more than a charred burn.
