Lost In Hope Poem by Biraj Sonowal

Lost In Hope

I searched for hope in life's embrace,
But life gave struggles in its place.
As years pass by, my burdens grow,
With every step, the weight does show.

I try to smile, to chase the light,
Yet darkness lingers in my sight.
Yes, I'm twenty-one, still finding ground,
Lost in silence, yet dreams abound.

I'm not as wealthy as my peers,
But I embrace my joys and fears.
Must I secure a life so tight?
Or trust the wind to guide me right?

Nature whispers, yet we ignore,
Its lessons knocking at our door.
I'm young in years, yet thoughts run deep,
A restless mind that seldom sleeps.

Who will listen? Who will care?
My story drifts into the air.
I fear my hope will fade away,
Yet still, I rise another day.

I'm not perfect, but I try,
Reflecting truth beneath the sky.
Though hardship clouds my weary scope,
Someday, I'll shine beyond this hope.

So I smile in silent thought,
And cry for battles yet unfought.
