Lost In My Own Self Poem by Faisal Mureed Fesi

Lost In My Own Self

'I am lost in your absence, on a journey like this,
I am trapped in the whirlpool of my thoughts, searching for a way out,

I am wandering in the wilderness of the world, searching for a glimpse of truth

I am unaware of reality, yet I am searching, longing to find my way

I am present everywhere, in every scene I am searching for myself, lost in the waves of time

I am a traveler, wandering in the desert of life
Searching for a drop of water, a glimpse of hope

I am a stranger, lost in the city of existence
Searching for a place to call home, a sense of belonging

I am a leaf, blown away by the winds of fate
Searching for a branch to cling to, a sense of stability

I am a wave, lost in the ocean of life
Searching for a shore to reach, a sense of peace

I am a traveler, searching for a place to rest
A place to call home, a sense of belonging

I am searching, searching, searching
For a glimpse of truth, a sense of purpose

I am searching, searching, searching
For a place to call home, a sense of belonging'
