Lost In Thought Poem by Justin Wright

Lost in thought I wish to cry
I dont know why I even try.
My heart has mo more love to give
I feel I have been stabbed with a shiv.
My soul no longer yearns to fight
but still I do with all my might.

Scared to death of this pain
left alone with nothing to gain.
All alone facing this life
each and every miserable strife.
What is left for me to endure
nothing good I am sure.

What is it that pushes me forward
what fate am I being led toward?
What awaits me in the end
could it be a long lost friend.
Maybe something to cause more torture
or maybe just maybe a love I may capture?

Lost in thought I am divided
my decisions lay undecided.
Sitting at this fork in the road
carrying loves painful load.
What to do I am uncertain
lost behind deaths dark curtain.
