No one told me what to say,
No one showed me what to do,
No one gave me an answer why you went away,
No one but me cried for you.

A broken heart never feels less pain,
It still aches every time you breathe in,
Making you feel that your living that day over again,
Realising your still in the same skin.

Everyone said it wasn’t meant to be,
And to stop crying as you had not yet a beating heart,
But you were not in them, you were in me,
And that with you gone my life was torn apart.

Sadly you were only here a short time,
You never got to know my name,
And that I loved you and that you were mine,
Forever I’ll be waiting patiently till I see you again.

Just because we never got to be together,
I swear I will hold you in my heart forever and ever….Mummy xx
