I once knew a girl, so young and so pretty
I made her laugh, she made me happy
We were a couple so close and so tight
I never dreamed there would be an end for us
I don't blame anyone but me and myself
Wish I had a chance to make it right again
Two seasons had past, I want to let it burn
That feeling inside with me all night long
Time heals all the wounds, so I was told
Though this one might linger until I am old
We all have to forget and learn from our past
The lost love will not be the last
