Lost Love Poem by Suren Thapa

Lost Love

Ask my heart how it cried
When you left it behind,
In silence, it screamed,
For the love now confined.
Being a stranger to you is my fear,
When you left me, my eyes were full of tears.
I can wait for you for seven lives,
For you to be my wife.
In the land of dreams,
Where only we seem.
But time keeps us apart,
Yet love stays in my heart.
A promise held tight,
Through the endless night.
I want to hold your hand in mine,
But I'm lost in a love that time can't bind. that time can't bind.
