Lost Treasure Poem by Lee Ann Schaffer

Lost Treasure

Rating: 5.0

The shards of light
That delicately
Shimmered and dazzled into
The distance
Were not enough
To draw the trajectory
Of your life.

You spurned
Ethereal diamonds,
Fiery and sweet,
As though they were
Cunning glass,
Replete with shine
And void of value.
