Lost Wings Poem by Martin Muvhango

Lost Wings

Lost Wings

I'm aware
I am forestly discombobulated
no more affairs

And I beg
a beautiful burden
took of my route

for a slave
of your words
lost in your face

Tho i beg
and i pray
for less than I'm worth

that if i fall
and couldn't flap
with my broken feathers

it's not of any anger
I wasn't enough
my wings broke

I am human again
my wings are fierced
I am a free bird

but what is a bird without wings?
