Lotus Embryo - Poem by Maria G. Karalis

Exhaling
she touches
the white pebble rocks
forgetting
the lost children of the sea
nurtured
by mermaids
and muses
while her tentacles
were spread
within her lotus embryo
waiting
to be born.
