Loud Then Quiet Poem by Isabella Schüler

Loud Then Quiet

Rating: 5.0

Foot steps are the only sounds
Shuffling feet, moaning sounds
Bang gone, a loud cry coming
Barking, yelling from the hounds
A man is walking lost and humming
Old clothes tattered and worn
Hungry and tired drops on the ground
Little girl grabs her mother, she is torn
Little girl is found still loved.
Bang, bang, bang another gone
Pushing, screaming I am shoved
Morning, night then dawn
Open the door
Breathe in and out
I wish I had more
Open the door to get some air
I yell This is fair
Bang...
I dropp to the floor
