Love Poem by Christina Musmanno

Love

Love.
Such a simple word.
Yet so complex.
If only people understood the strength of it.
Love means forever.
Love means all or nothing.
Love means flaws.
Love means the little things.
I love her.
I love the way she talks.
The way she’s so shy,
Yet so loud.
The way she puts her heart into everything she’s passionate about.
How she hates placing orders for food.
How she tries to always stay so strong.
How she cares so much.
She’ll refuse to believe that she is beautiful,
But, I know she’s beautiful and so much more.
She makes me a better person.
She gives me confidence.
She builds me up.
She helps me see all the good in me.
How I’m more than just a person existing in this messed up world.
She’s amazing.
And that’s what love is.
But more importantly,
Love is when you see all of their flaws,
And still love every inch of them.
