Love Poem by Daimon Bagley

Love

The tigress

As she treads, she walks lightly
Stalking her prey, thinking nightly
Ever watchful of their plight
Ever mindful of their fight
She spies the prey
Their hearts a beating
She eye's the prey
Time is fleeting
Grasps with both her paws
She know's as he does, he is hers
She takes him in to her
He struggles not
For he knows where best his lot.
There is no escaping
No sound a making
No moment, only satisfaction
Rebirth, reborn
Up for the taking
