Love Poem by Grace Barich

Love

Rating: 5.0

Love is a simple thing
It is used more often than it should be
Love is a sacred being
It is said by me
Like all things pretty they must decay
For there are more flowers ready to display

We all have our perfect image
And that includes me
But sometimes they can be less of a privilege
And more of a plea

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We all say "I love you" when it should not be used. We fall easily for the tricks of a smile instead of waiting for a while.
