Love - Poem by Connie Baker

Love is more than just a word.
Love is from the God above.
Love is meek And gentle and Kind,
and it is knowledgeable and never blind. Love is truth and filled with joy, and
no pain does it employ. Love is filled
with hope and faith and relies on God's
amazing grace. Love is always willing to lend a
helping hand, and first to defend,
the rights of all who must depend
on the compassion and aid of other
men. Love will not scoff, love will not scorn,
you'll find that love is very fond
of offering help in times of stress, and
give of itself the very best. Love can't be purchased, bartered, or
bought. It flows from a heart of loving
thoughts. You cannot weigh it, measure
it or see it. You cannot not touch it,
and it cannot be bound, but you will
always know when love is around. You cannot touch it, and it cannot be
bound, but you will always know when
live is around.
