Love - Poem by Mary M. Calderone

Love to me is
A baby's smile,
A new rose in bloom,
The start of a new day.

A touch of a hand,
A warm embrace,
A mother's face,
A magical place.

A beautiful bride,
A moonlit sky,
Stars twinkling above,
All a sign of love.

Helping the needy,
Consoling the lonely,
Visiting a sick friend,
Making amends.

A moment of silence,
In his presence,
A fervent prayer,
His guiding hand of love.
